Role & responsibilities

Job description:

·               Understanding the organizational need of Market Vehicle Business & align Market Vehicle placements strategy with organizational Goal.

·               Identify efficient & cost-effective Market Vehicle Vendors for on time deliveries as per TAT.

·               Monitor on route vehicle movement.

·               Collaboratively liaison with internal and external stakeholders for inputs in RFQ & RFPs.

·               Spearheading various projects to drive operational efficiency across the MV operation.

·               Identify key markets, locally and PAN India for organic growth of Company Vehicle in spot sales.

·               Leading a team of Transportation professionals to motivate and develop accountability for key deliverable.

Primary Responsibilities

Role And Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Identifying / On-boarding Vendors with Small/Medium/Large size Fleet like Containers/Open Body/Trailers/Tempos/Lorry.
• Drive acquisition and retention of Transport Promoters/ Fleet Owners/Truckers for the assigned clusters
• Ensure compliance of business activities with guidelines to minimize/mitigate/eliminate relevant risks
• Understand Open Market and increase CV Placement in Market as per business need.
• Daily MV Rate analysis with placement and perform cost benefit analysis.
• Should be able to on board Strategic Vendors for (Long Term/Short Term/Spot Vendors)

Experience

·         10 to 17 years

Education Background

·         Post-Graduate / MBA with 5-7 years of business experience in sales.

·         Good understanding of how transport market and relationships between truckers, shippers and brokers work.

·         Experience with an existing digital transport aggregation platform will be preferred.

·         Open to travelling
