Assistant Manager - Accounts & Taxation

Key Responsibilities:

1.Financial Reporting:

•Prepare provisional and projected financial statements as needed.

•Assist auditors in the audit process to ensure timely completion of book audits.

•Draft notes to accounts and other supporting documentation for the annual audit of the books of accounts.


•Handle income tax-related matters, including liaising with auditors.

•Arrange and manage documents related to income tax cases.

•Work on obtaining and maintaining Lower Deduction Certificates.


•Perform monthly ledger scrutiny to ensure accuracy and compliance.

•Manage the monthly closure of books of accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.

•Verify provisions taken at the end of each month to ensure they are reasonable and compliant.

4.Credit Management:

•Assist in the credit rating process, providing necessary financial information and analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

•CA Inter/ Graduate/ with relevant experience in Accounting and Taxation

•Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.

•Or Qualified CA with 1-2 years of experience.

•Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

•Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.

•Familiarity with income tax laws and regulations.

•Experience with financial audits and liaising with auditors.

•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

•Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

•Good communication and interpersonal skills.
