Job Description:

An Assistant Manager Solution Design typically supports the design and implementation of warehouse and logistics solutions.

The key responsibilities include:

1.Solution Design:

oDevelop customized warehouse solutions for clients, focusing on optimizing space, resources, and operational efficiency.

oDesign layouts, workflows, and material handling systems to maximize warehouse performance.

oCreate scalable logistics models that accommodate growth and changing business needs.

2.Project Management:

oAssist in managing warehouse implementation projects, including timelines, budgets, and resources.

oCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of logistics solutions.

oEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.


3.Client Interaction:

oWork closely with clients to understand their warehousing and logistics requirements.

oProvide expert advice on logistics optimization, cost reductions, and performance improvements.


4.Data Analysis and Reporting:

oAnalyze data on warehouse operations, transportation, and logistics to identify inefficiencies.

oCreate detailed reports and presentations on proposed solutions and their anticipated benefits.


5.Continuous Improvement:

oContinuously improve existing warehouse operations by identifying areas for optimization.

oImplement best practices in logistics and supply chain management.

6.Technology Integration:

oStay updated with the latest warehouse management technologies and integrate them into solutions.

oImplement warehouse management systems (WMS) and other related software.


Key Skills Required:

Educational Qualifications:

•Certifications:

oCertification in Supply Chain Management, Lean Six Sigma, or Project Management (e.g., PMP) is beneficial.

oKnowledge of lean management and continuous improvement methodologies can also be a plus.


Experience:

•Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in solution design, logistics, supply chain management, or warehouse operations is typically required.
